Bangladesh is under siege with situation of anarchy prevailing across the country. The protests which began last month as an anti-reservation agitation by students have finally expanded into a nation wide unrest with law and order completely collapsed. Goons were seen gone amuck openly carrying deadly weapons and ammunition in their hands vandalising and destroying everything they could lay their hands on.
They were seen breaking the sculptures and statues of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman the man who brought them liberation from slavery of racist radical Pakistan and bestowed a separate Nation and Country to them for Honorable and Dignified living. Today they were successful in laying siege on Dhaka and even enter and take over the official residence of Sheikh Hasina the PM of Bangladesh who has already resigned and fled the Country in a helicopter to save her life. She has finally landed in India and has been granted temporary refuge here. The Army has already taken over the reigns of power and is in process of forming an interim Govt there backed by Bangladesh Jamat e Islami…!!
What has led to this situation in Bangladesh which was on the path of progress with all round development happening and was seen emerging as a fast developing economy in South Asia during past few years. Is it actually genuine protests by students or something else….?? I think that more than anything it’s a mindset problem caused due to their toxic thinking . It is actually an Islamist Movement inspired by Islamic Jehad and it is a well established fact that Democracy is an anathema for Islam…!! Ungratefulness is one of the chief characteristic of Islamised thinking and the “True Believers” make no exception to repay anyone for every good he or she has done for them in the most worst way they can be it Bangabandhu or any other Bandhu or Bandhni….!!
Such a huge political trouble erupting and finally culminating with Jamat e Islami backed Military Rule in our backyard on Eastern Front is not only worrying but also alarming especially in view of belligerent China always keen to foment trouble for us in that area and our enemy Pakistan being very happy with the political instability which has set in Bangladesh engineered by Islamist elements there who happen to be the natural allies of Pakistan and ISI.
The next target and the big casualty of their toxic hatred and violence is going to be the already marginalized and sidelined minority Hindu community there… !! Hope Govt of India steps in case of any such eventuality and Modiji doesn’t look the other way if it actually happens…!!
