Recently  conducted election results in Jammu and Kashmir  are out . This  unprecedented Political mandate became another milestone in the election history of Jammu and Kashmir, minus Ladakh  . Beyond anybody’s  wildest dreams this tsunami  of resentment was called by name “invincible” leaving very little margin to  any speculations  for horse trading.

As a political analysis  results are quite far away from the expected lines. Both those  who went into fray, supporters well wishers and above all a commoner who were sitting on the fence to hope against hope. There were off course  feeble indications here and there in the air highly  loaded with if and but syndrome. But such type of results has taken everyone off the guards. Expect BJP ,RSS combo who put multi pronged efforts in an immaculate planning to its minute detail and focused to the last vote, percolated deep down to romp home with a thumping majority.

 Every apparatus that mattered in government machinery had its own person to manage its interest. Officers that mattered be it the District head, Divisional head and HOD it was must to report to , as alleged RSS headquarters.

 Rules, ethics people’s interests were sacrificed  to help the Combo  with furthering its interest both financially and in other ways. Arm twisting was applied through  delimitation of Assembly constituencies  add in a few more to be safely placed  as per its needs, Pressing services of Enforcement Directorate , SIT, ASFA, CBI, local Crime branch  to brow beat and  push  every  political foe to back foot.  That gave  rise  to new  political parties  which by and large remained Letterhead and Sponsored.

Nelson’s eyes for  the  acts of omission and commission those  defected from their  parent  political parties and rode Sponsored body wagon  .This  till date  counts dirtires in the history of J&K politics. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) appears to have improved its marginal presence in Jammu & Kashmir, registering an average of almost 7% of the votes polled in each of the 19 of the 47 assembly constituencies in the Muslim-majority Kashmir valley where the saffron party was in the electoral fray, according to official data. In both the cases Dogras has lost , whose scarifiecs a Sate was created, that has been torn upon before their eyes.

From an average of less than 2% votes per seat in the 2008 assembly election, its vote share has jumped to an average of 6.76% votes in the 19 constituencies where it had fielded candidates this time, according to the data released by the Election Commission of India (ECI). NC all along was kept busy to clear itself of so called charges. So were many who went to galleries to save skin. Only it is Mrs. Mehbooba Mufti is the lone crusader who came clean so his aged mother or the daughter and Brother. Yet her association with BJP made her content with from previous 28 to poor three. National Conference, Congress   and others barring BJP who day and night feed hindutva . Others lost  even semblance to touch with the people helped then to mitigate suffering, raised public interest issues, as it became once upon a time. Parties drifted on its own rudderless  one could recognize it by its name. Even old political workers like me longed to see at least Party flags here and there. Even at the district HQs hardly seen rural scenario was all devoid of it. Mandates to the National Conference and Congress were at places decided very   late say just on the eve of filing nomination dates were to close. That  costs  then very darly suspense and were allowed to hang which  cost Congress very dearly. Most of the winners  in the Congress romped home on with their own efforts. on  hardly even a semblance of Congress leadership was not available .  It wing Seva Dal has confined itself to history pages. Rahul Gandhi factor did provide a space to breathe but was a far way to impress voters. It is where it met its waterloo. How long this combo shall stand together is to be seen, but may not be a lasting one.

 People want peace, tranquility, honor  far beyond parachoical approach, restoration of Statehood, as it was under the instrument of Acession, matter still in UNO . Not withdrawn by the government of India   who lodged the complaint with it.

But how will BJP  reconcile with  results in the National intrests as Moraraji Desai, as PM 1977, later Atal ji to win hearts. It is said, it is very easy to mount  a tiger dismounting  brings in a horrible scene.
