Thirty years on, my mind has remained vexed with the concern caused due to our exile from Kashmir.But post abrogation of 370 and 35 A together with the downgrading of the J& K State to that of two Union territories ,Jammu & Kashmir and Ladhak, new power centres of the community leadership has emerged, mainly in the US and to some extent in the UK.Community leadership in India represented by mainline organisations appears to e marginalised.
Their’s is not the voice that addresses the community concerns, in the new dispensation.Instead, now new narratives are emerging from international forum addressed by KPs.By and large for 30 years the community remained unheard from abroad.I Am at loss how this sudden shift has occurred and what has caused it.Currently we hear more from US and UK and very little from Jammu,Delhi or elsewhere from India.
There appears power shift in KP leadership and it’s narratives. Oversees KP voices are getting louder y the day and those within India are getting fainter by every hour.New organisational setups never heard earlier call themselves Apex and global of the community leadership.
Can any one enlighten me if KPs abroad have orchestrated a coup against the community leadership in India or it is still in control and command of the community affairs. I Pray that this nebulous situation we, at the end, do not have the egg on our face.
